In the AMC show Preacher, the Angel Phone (or Heaven Phone) is a special, otherworldly communication device used by angels Fiore and DeBlanc to contact Heaven directly from Earth. It serves as a plot device in Season 1, allowing the angels to report on their mission to retrieve the entity Genesis.

Key Aspects of the Angel Phone:

Appearance: It is a vintage, specifically a Soviet TA-57 field telephone.

Function: It serves as a direct, secure, and seemingly "steampunk" line for angels to communicate with the afterlife when they are on unauthorized missions on Earth.

Usage: It requires a severed angel hand to operate, acting as a form of "biometric" security to ensure only supernatural beings can use it.

Significance: At the end of Season 1, Jesse Custer steals this phone and uses it to call Heaven to ask God for answers, only to learn that God is missing from the Throne.
