Orgone devices (often referred to as orgonite) are structures designed based on the 1930s research of Dr. Wilhelm Reich to attract, accumulate, and transmute energy, specifically aiming to convert "deadly orgone" (negative energy/DOR) into "positive orgone" (life energy/POR). Modern orgone devices are primarily composed of a mixture of organic resin, inorganic metal shavings, and quartz crystals.
Core Structural Components
Orgonite functions by suspending metal particles (conductors) in resin (an organic, insulating material), which creates a "layering" effect on a microscopic level.
Organic Component (Resin): Epoxy, fiberglass, or casting resin is used as the base. It is considered "organic" in this context because it is hydrocarbon-based. It attracts and holds the orgone energy.
Inorganic Component (Metal Shavings): Conductive metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, or iron are used. These materials act to attract and reflect the energy. Important: For the device to function as intended, the metal content should make up at least 50% of the total volume.
Piezoelectric Component (Quartz Crystals): Crystals (typically clear quartz, amethyst, or rose quartz) are added to the mix. Due to the resin shrinking during curing, the crystals are under constant pressure, which activates their piezoelectric properties—generating an electric charge that amplifies the energy transformation.
