Sam Altman (born April 22, 1985) is an American entrepreneur, investor, and programmer best known as the CEO of OpenAI, the AI research laboratory responsible for creating ChatGPT, DALL-E, and Sora. He is considered one of the leading figures in the artificial intelligence boom and a major influencer in Silicon Valley.
