Project Looking Glass refers to two distinct concepts: a 2000s CIA study on team intelligence using simulations and, more commonly in conspiracy theories, a top-secret 1970s military technology designed to view future timelines, often associated with Anunnaki technology. It is often confused with Operation Looking Glass, the US Strategic Command airborne command post.
Key Aspects of the Different "Looking Glass" Projects:
CIA/Harvard Simulation (Real): A research project conducted by the CIA and Harvard University in the late 2000s to study team collaboration. Using a "spy-game" simulation of a terrorist attack, researchers analyzed how teams could improve collective intelligence.
Conspiracy/Time Machine (Alleged): A, often alleged, top-secret government project from the 1970s that supposedly used argon gas and quartz crystals to create a device for viewing future timelines. Theorists claim it was shut down around 2012 when it was discovered that all potential future timelines converged at that point.
Operation Looking Glass (Military): A Strategic Command program that has operated since 1960, providing an airborne command post for nuclear forces.
